David Carter

David decided to turn Pro at the age of 17. After winning the European Qualifying School in 1994 he spent the next 15 years playing on the European tour where he already attended more than 350 events. Among his biggest career achievements are the Irish Open victory after beating Colin Mongomerie in a play off and a World Cup triumph where he celebrated, together with Nick Faldo, the first ever victory for England. For a long time, David was having health issues.

It turned out, an operation on his back was unavoidable so David decided to end his career of a professional player and open a new chapter of his life - golf coaching.
David Carter is a complete golf coach, a coach who understands the game of golf based on his extraordinary playing experience, he has deep knowledge of golf swing biomechanics, and knows how the humans brain works and how we learn.

Golf is a lot more than just a grip, posture or plane line. Swing technique is only a one part of the mosaic forming a unique golfer development programme called golf coaching.

My training methodology is a combination of a detailed knowledge of the golf swing technique, deep insight and vast personal experience from the professional golf competition at the regional and world level and years of implementation of the coaching methods into the amateur and professional golfers training practice. The golf coaching programme is complemented by the work of highly respected professionals from the physiotherapy and fitness fields I have been working with for a long time.
